Nicki Minaj has revealed she’s waiting for the “right movie” before making her debut on the big screen.
The American Idol judge, also claimed she’s serious about becoming an actress, even hiring an agent.
Speaking to the New York Post at Elton John‘s AIDS foundation Oscars party on Sunday (February 24), Minaj stated: “I would love to act, it just has to be the right project, the right movie.
“I have an agent, and we are looking at a couple of scripts, so we’ll see.”
Nicki went on to add that she won’t be chasing signing roles much like fellow Idol judge Mariah Carey and Beyoncé, adding: “It won’t be nothing stereotypical about a singer.”
The Freedom rapper also addressed her fiery relationship with Mariah, insisting that after not initially seeing eye-to-eye, they are now getting on better.
Minaj explained: “All of that has been talked about. We had our differences, but it is all done with now, and we just get in there and do our job.”
